Situated in the picturesque village of Sowerby, and within easy walking distance of the centre of Thirsk. Thorpe House is next to Holy Rood House, and forms part of The Centre for Health and Pastoral Care, housing the library, creative art studio, weaving room, children's room and two conference rooms.
Groups can be catered for on a daily basis or residentially.
Access to Thorpe House is easy either by car or by public transport. Thirsk railway station, on the East Coast main line, has connections with York, Leeds, Darlington, Durham, Newcastle and London. Collection from the station can always be made by prior arrangment, and there are also taxis readily available. National coaches, and local busis, stop in Thirsk market place in the centre of the town.
The house enjoys spectacular views across The Flatts to the Hambleton Hills.
